Amber Job Staff Mobility – Job Shadowing Event in Rhodes, October 2024

From October 24–29, 2024, Amber Job, in collaboration with our long-term partner Atlantica Hotels Group, organized a staff mobility and job shadowing program on the island of Rhodes, Greece.

We were honored to welcome our partner schools from Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, and Spain, who joined us for a week filled with hotel visits, presentations, networking, and cultural experiences.

The extended program gave participants the opportunity to:

• Stay at the beautiful Atlantica Imperial Resort & Spa, where our group was hosted.
• Tour several 4–5 star luxury hotels in Rhodes, including Atlantica Imperial and others, with behind-the-scenes visits to departments such as Reception, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and SPA.
• Join an exclusive presentation by Amber Job, where we discussed internship conditions, accommodation, duration, and opportunities for extra payments in a relaxed lounge setting.
• Meet with Greece and Cyprus’s largest hotel events and entertainment company, exploring open internship placements for the 2025 season.
• Experience Rhodes’ unique cultural heritage, including an afternoon in the stunning Old Town of Rhodes and a farewell dinner celebrating new friendships and partnerships.

This combination of professional exchange and cultural immersion allowed participants to gain a deeper insight into how Erasmus+ internships are structured in Greece, evaluate opportunities for students, and strengthen cooperation with both hotels and internship providers.
