At Amber Job, we love seeing our students return for a second season! Today, we are featuring a true hospitality pro who decided to take their skills to the next level by completing a second internship in Greece, this time exploring a completely different hotel environment. βœ¨

After a successful first internship, our student returned to Greece to work in a high-end Adult-Only hotel. This transition provided a fresh professional challenge, shifting from general hospitality to a more sophisticated service style.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡· Key Professional Highlights:

  • Modern Systems: Mastering new digital ordering systems for Food & Beverage, staying ahead of industry tech trends.

  • Targeted Service: Adapting to the specific needs of an adult-only clientele, primarily from the UK, which provided the perfect environment to sharpen English communication and sociability.

  • Operational Insight: Engaging in regular briefings with the Operations Manager, learning how high-level management addresses challenges and supports a large team.

🌍 A Global Team Spirit

One of the most rewarding parts of this summer was the incredible diversity within the staff. Working alongside fellow students from Romania, Hungary, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania, and Greece, our intern learned that while mentalities may differ, a shared goal creates a "friends for life" bond.

"Despite the constant workload, we got along very well and had an interesting summer. This internship gave me the opportunity to gain new knowledge about the service industry and make friends from all over Europe." shares Anastasia

πŸ“ˆ Why a Second Internship Matters

Choosing to go abroad a second time allowed our student to compare different hotel classes and management styles. By building a strong rapport with both guests and leadership, they have transformed from a trainee into a confident hospitality professional ready for any challenge the industry throws at them.
